Slowcore group Dripping Trees released their latest single “Nothing’s Changed.” You can check it out below.
Dripping Trees said about their latest single: ‘Nothing’s Changed’ is about an overwhelming feeling of loneliness in a situation where you no longer have an overview of what’s happening in your life. You try to understand the meaning of what’s going on and how you feel, but you lose connection with yourself and the people around you. The only thing that seems possible is to remain alone in it and distance yourself even more from everything and everyone.
Balance is Gone, the upcoming album by Dripping Trees, is a new direction for us as band. Influenced even more by slowcore, post-rock and folk, Balance is Gone steers away completely from the post-punk influence that was audible on Fuel of Mankind, our previous album.
The addition of Luc Lamée on piano has a great influence on the band’s sound, adding more nuance and depth to the songs. In comparison to Fuel of Mankind, Dripping Trees have chosen for a more raw, sophisticated and layered sound, fueled by producer JJJ Sielcken. With song thematics about the worsening condition of planet earth, poetry based on personal experiences and absurdistic tales on fictional worlds, Balance is Gone is unmistakably a Dripping Trees album.
