DFL’s iconic hardcore punk album My Crazy Life has been given new life with a limited edition cassette release by Trust Records. Originally recorded over 30 years ago at the Beastie Boys’ G-Son Studios in Atwater Village, the album captures the raw energy and spirit of the early ’90s punk scene. Produced by the legendary Mario Caldato Jr. (Mario C.), who was behind the boards for many Beastie Boys classics, My Crazy Life was first released in 1993 on the Beastie Boys’ own Grand Royal Records, available as a 7-inch and CD. The new cassette release is a tribute to the enduring influence of hardcore punk, offering fans a chance to experience this classic album in a retro format. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the scene, this limited edition cassette is a must-have for hardcore punk enthusiasts.
