Earlier this month, renowned band X put 500 test pressings of a new record online, creating a buzz among their dedicated fans. Today, the band has officially announced the release of what they claim will be their final album. Titled “Smoke and Fiction,” the album is set to be released on August 2 via Fat Possum Records.
Alongside the album announcement, X has unveiled a video for their new song “Big Black X.” The video, a creative collaboration by Shane McKenzie and Gilbert Trejo, features additional stills provided by Ed Colver, showcasing the band’s signature style and artistic vision.
