The solo project of Fremantle-based multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Staude, 40th Parallel released their second single this Feb; the jazz-inspired shoegaze magic that is ‘Cleaner Air Better World’. The track received a huge amount of support from Australian radio with multiple programs across RRR, PBS, RTR, 2SER and 4ZZZ all showing it much love, and FBi adding it to their rotation for some heavy airplay. After the release, Jeremy flew stateside to perform alongside Mia June at this year’s SXSW. More recently, he has released the excellent follow up ‘Convergence’, delving even deeper into those jazzy influences.
