San Diego melodic punk band Taking On Water recently joined forces with Wiretap Records for their upcoming album release.
The 12-song album, entitled ‘Social Insecurity’, was recorded in the summer of 2023 and, after several successful single releases, will finally get its day in the sun when it releases digitally on all major streaming platforms this Friday, May 24, 2024.
Commenting on the album, the band says, “Although we feel the songs are a notch above what we’ve been putting out since coming together in 2019, tt’s really the usual from us; that 90s styled punk that is either fast, slow or in-between but always melodic and energetic. Lyrically, the album tends to lean towards the belief that we’re all doomed and AI even gets a mention for good measure. We’re stoked to have Wiretap Records behind us and hopefully this record can reach more ears because of it!”
To promote the album release, Taking On Water have also released a video for their song ‘Heaven Or Hell’ which can be viewed here:
