Mila psych-punks The Gluts are today releasing their new single ‘Soybeans’, the third and final single to be lifted from the band’s new album ‘Bang!’ out May 31st on Fuzz Club. In support of the new record The Gluts are currently in the middle of European Summer dates, with an album release show at London’s Shacklewell Arms coming up on the 31st.
Blending the searing psychedelic noise-rock of their earlier material and the more straight-up punk offerings revealed in the shape of recent singles ‘Cade Giù’ and ‘Fight’, the band explain that “Soybeans is the opening track of ‘Bang!’ and also the very first one we composed almost a year and half ago. It is the junction ring between all we had done before and the whole new album.”

The follow-up to 2021’s ‘Ungrateful Heart’ LP, ‘Bang!’ is the fifth studio album from the Milan-based group. “Like the sound of a single gunshot, straight to the heart”, the record is balanced between punchy, fast-paced punk songs and noisy experimentalism, perfectly distilling the strength and energy of their notoriously wild, feedback-blasted live shows.
The Gluts is made up of Marco Campana (guitarist), Nicolò J. Campana (frontman), Claudia Cesana (bassist) and Dario Bruno Bassi (drummer). To this date they have released four studio albums, one live album and contributed to a handful of compilations. Over the last few years they’ve toured heavily around Europe, performed shows in South Africa and USA and appeared at a number of independent festivals including New Colossus, The Great Escape, Eurosonic and more.
