Brazen (Geneva, Switzerland) returns after a long hiatus with the single “Arms Of The Sea”. Their distinct indie-rock blend of progressive songwriting and dark modulations is given fresh life here, thanks to harmonic complexity and emotional depth.
Pre-order album HERE
Constructed as a generous, sweeping fresco, “Arms Of The Sea,” the first single taken from their upcoming new album “Distance” (to be released on June 14, 2024 via Re-Echo Records), is an epic protest song whose lyrics condemn indifference to the awful destiny of thousands of individuals who drowned in the Mediterranean as a result of Europe’s closed borders.
The song begins with tension chords floating on an arpeggio bed rising to a crescendo. It reaches its climax of intensity on a freeing chorus and ends with a poignant, enigmatic instrumental finale.
