Oregon-based record-label is happy to welcome notorious Alabama punk-rock band announcing their forthcoming LP to come out later this year.
“We are thrilled beyond belief, honored and grateful to be working with Jerry A., American Leather and Burnside on this release” said Abusements frontman Todd Souvignier. Coming out from the early days of the Portland scene, Souvignier is somebody who might be called “a punk-rocker by heart”. “It’s exactly where we belong, and we are so thankful to Jerry. This album is our our best yet. With today’s agreement it has a far better chance of getting heard”. While their newest, third LP, ‘Grievance Beerwater Reprisal’ is scheduled for the release later in 2024, the band continues to evolve and stretch its sound without losing any of their original Punk energy and intensity.
Commenting on the signing announcement, the founder of American Leather Records/Poison Idea, Jerry A. Lang stresses: “All of us at American Leather are excited about having The Abusements join the family!” – Lang adds: “We’re anticipating a long and happy relationship. YaaHey!”
