Sludder - Sooner Or Later

Sludder To Release “Sooner Or Later” On January 19

Sludder - Sooner Or Later

January 19 will be the day of Sooner or Later, the first work of Sludder, a punk-rock band from Brescia (Italy).

Pre-save HERE

Formed just over a year ago, the members of the quintet, have from the very beginning devoted intense efforts to the production of material, necessary to allow a worthy minute-long live show.

From this endeavor the band extracted the very first 5 tracks, which came out quite spur-of-the-moment and perfectly reflect the various influences of the individual members.

The opening single Porcupine, released last Dec. 8, anticipated the EP by introducing a scratchy and compact sound with clear skate punk influences.

Sooner or Later, however, manages with a few shrugs to untangle itself through various musical directions. Examples are tracks such as Nothing but friends and Autumn which have more punk-rock sounds the first and pop-punk the second.

Despite these micro/macro musical differences, the tracks nevertheless possess a bond, which lies not in the lyrics (which range from more easy-going and lighthearted topics to more intimate and personal experiences) but rather in Giek’s distinctive voice that emerges as the lowest common denominator.

This EP represents in all respects the band’s desire to bring, as soon as possible, their creativity to the public, so much so that they are already back at work on new pieces and new ideas.

Sooner or Later is an entirely DIY release and will be available on all digital platforms starting Friday, January 19, and in the following weeks also in CD format.
