Iron Mind Released New Single “Assume Your Ultimate Form”

Australian hardcore mainstays Iron Mind are back with a fury. Having first broken out in 2009 with The Sun Has Set EP, followed by 2011’s Hell Split Wide Open, the band caught the ear of Flatspot Records who released their defining self-titled album in 2014. Iron Mind and the label join forces once again for Assume Your Ultimate Form out September 22nd. Featuring two hard-hitting new songs, today the band shares the title track, which can be streamed HERE. “Assume Your Ultimate Form” is a groove-driven outcry, encompassing Iron Mind’s raw, aggressive energy and pragmatic lyrical approach. The single was recorded in the band’s hometown of Melbourne, AUS with Sam Johnson at The Black Lodge Studio and then mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit.

Iron Mind is set to head out on tour across Australia supporting No Warning later this month, full dates below. Having played yearly one off shows in Melbourne, this marks the band’s first proper tour since 2014. Previously they’ve headlined across the continent as well as supported Backtrack, Harm’s Way and more in the US that same year. Not settling on nostalgia, Iron Mind is bringing 110% on record and in their live performance, with a fresh mindset and some serious riffs.
