PK Bats are a 3-piece post-punk band from Edinburgh, Scotland, brought together by a mutual love for emotionally intense and sonically raw acts like Hot Snakes, Wipers and Husker Du. Their debut single ‘Black Mark’ is due for release on 1st July 2023, with a self-titled album to follow in late August, and an accompanying mini-tour.
‘Black Mark’ is about the human tendency to torture ourselves with regrets and bad memories, which only increase in number the longer we live; as the song puts it, “an ever-lengthening list of damage done and opportunities missed”.
