Fort Worth, TX metalcore outfit Since My Beloved join the DAZE records roster today with the release of their new EP, One Day Away. The four tracks document anguish and loss, building on a darker sound. The band pulls influences from bands like Prayer For Cleansing and 7 Angels 7 Plagues, and draws comparison to modern acts like Wristmeetrazor and labelmates A Mourning Star. The EP came together in different sessions over the course of a year, creating songs off specific riffs that make the guitar work a standout. The vocals are rightfully abrasive and the only reprieve of the heavy record comes in a brief melodic moment on “My Heartache Is Measured By The Acre.”
To celebrate the EP, the band has a hometown release show at Growl Records on April 26th, and they’ll then make their way to the Northeast for select shows with Torena, Hate Still Burns, and Adrienne. Full dates below.
One Day Away is available now through DAZE on CD and digital.
