Where Wasn’t I? is a brand new release by J.D. Reager and it features a robust cast of talented guest contributors, including David Catching (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal), Steve Selvidge (The Hold Steady), Ross Johnson (Tav Falco’s Panther Burns, Alex Chilton), Scott Danbom (Centro-matic), Matt Jencik (Don Caballero, Slint, Implodes), Jeremy Scott (Reigning Sound), John Bonds (Jack Oblivian, River City Tanlines) and Mark Edgar Stuart.
Memphis musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist J.D. Reager is a veteran of several TN-based touring and recording acts, including Glossary, Pezz, Two Way Radio, Snowglobe and The Passport Again. He has opened for heroes and appeared on MTV and released two critically acclaimed solo records, but is in no way famous. In 2020 he launched a successful podcast called Back to the Light that quickly evolved into a full-blown podcast network and record label. He has since produced a new album of his own (Where Wasn’t I?) and a new album for Memphis underground icons The Subteens (Vol. 4: Dashed Hopes & Good Intentions), released on October 14 on Back to the Light Records.
