Ray Drenth of Drunktank, Bart Tadla of Straightline, Chris Navarrete of Fine Dining, and Loic Cormery of Double Negative have covered And The Cheese Fell Down by the legendary Swedish skatepunk group Satanic Surfers. You can check out the video below.
We are back! And you know we love that fast and hard music!! When I first released our cover by Pennywise, I got a nice comment from Ray of Drunktank. We started chatting and planned to link up soon. He loved what I was doing and wanted to join forces. I checked out his band and knew he could handle it! We agreed to attempt the Satanic Surfers. We really pushed each other to get the best quality sound, and it was a long process! Sometimes things don’t always go so smoothly, but I’m proud of the end result. I was excited to bring back Loic to fill out the low end again! Loic is very easy to work with! Ray introduced me to Bart from Straightline and we clicked immediately. We both like a lot of the same music, and both like it heavy. Bart did both guitar tracks, and I’m so stoked on his ripping style for this track! He really transformed this song! His friend Bogdan did a great job engineering as well! I got to work once again with my long time friend Tim Brumet on the mix and master. We have reconnected over the last year and have a great chemistry in our stoner metal band King Need. I had a blast singing this one! Great back up vocals added by Sarah Ockhuysen – Chris (Fine Dining, King Need)
