Lakeland, US shoegaze group Cmpny Of Anmls recently released a brand new single. Over Now talks about the struggles within the artist’s mind to remain loyal to its calling. It’s about pushing our true selves beneath the surface to fit the role of the conventional way of living. As the band said, they wrote this composition after watching the documentary about Jim Carrey regarding “Jim Carrey” being nothing but a character he played. Musicwise, Over Now showcases an entirely different picture, built upon calmy melodies, pleasant harmonies, and divine soundscapes. It’s a cathartic number that carries an important message about the world we’re living in today.
