Bill Leeb formed the electronic-industrial outfit Front Line Assembly shortly after his departure from Skinny Puppy in 1986, but not even Leeb himself could have predicted that FLA would become the groundbreaking force in electronic music that it is today. With more than 15 studio albums, countless world tours and a multitude of off-shoots, the FLA legacy is firmly secure in the annals of music history, and it all started with two albums, 1987’s The Initial Command and 1988’s State Of Mind. Each one showcased Leeb’s fearless digital manipulations that thread the needle between full-on danceable techno grooves and piercing, cacophonous noise compositions.
Now, these two legendary albums are being reissued by Cleopatra Records on glorious vinyl with digitally remastered audio and meticulously recreated artwork! The Initial Command will be available in your choice of red or blue vinyl housed in a gatefold jacket. It will also be available as a CD with 2 bonus tracks! State Of Mind, on the other hand, will only be available on clear vinyl. Get your copy before they are all gone!
