Bishops Green has released a music video for their brand new single “Waiting.” The song will be available soon as a picture flexi and be included on the band’s upcoming 12″.
“The song is about societal isolation. How people seem to become more and more disengaged, more insular. We have observed this trend for quite some time, it was happening well before the pandemic, but man…COVID-19 kicked it up a notch,” says frontman Greg Huff.
2021 marks the band’s 10 year anniversary and although COVID-19 canceled a lot of touring and show plans, the band has remained busy throughout the pandemic. The band is in the process of recording 7 news songs, making new videos, and planning out tours for 2022 and beyond.
Bishops Green emerged onto the scene with the release of their critically acclaimed debut self-titled LP. They followed it up with two subsequent 12″s in following years, Pressure and A Chance To Change, and throughout that time were touring relentlessly across the world including extensive European tours and festival appearances.
Now, after a few years of laying low, the band is back and more determined than ever to release new tunes and tour the world once again!
