NOI!SE – Price We Pay 7” (Pirates Press Records)

NOI!SE - Price We Pay 7'' - Pirates Press Records

Price We Pay is one of the latest recordings by NOI!SE. This single embraces quite an unusual theme, which cannot be seen or heard that much within the punk rock scene. NOI!SE takes the prison industrial complex as the primary theme for the song, fully stacked with brilliant songwriting. Of course, these highly engaging lyrics are followed by the exceptional musicianship of this Seattle, Washington-based street punk quartet. We’re talking about a hard-working band who made a breakthrough with two remarkable albums, loads of singles, and extended play. They also shared a couple of split recordings with bands such as Street Dogs, Harrington Saints, Antagonizers ATL, The Gestalts, The Old Firm Casuals, Razorblade, and Badlands. Therefore, we’re talking about the group that nurtures nothing but the quality since their formation.

Price We Pay talks about prison industrialization and how the prison system exploits prisoners to gain more cash. The prisons are straying far away from their principal purpose, which should be a rehabilitation of the prisoners and employment preparation. Instead of serving its purpose, prison industrialization benefits from free prisoner labor and makes loads of profit. The band showcases the real imagery of the States, entirely soaked in the colors of capitalism, where human rights don’t mean a thing. Like on their previous recordings, NOI!SE are using a prime time to defend the working-class, even inside in the prisons, where all the rights are strictly limited to almost none.

For those not familiar with the sound of NOI!SE, the band nurtures a recognizable street punk/Oi! that perfectly appeals to the thematics of this specific single. The group carries a meaningful message with the right amounts of power and dynamics. Everything from thoughtfully arranged guitar shreds and compelling basslines to the driving force of excellent drumming performance indicate loads of entertainment throughout the entire composition. NOI!SE thought about every movement included at this number, which will suit to all the admirers of street punk sound.

Price We Pay comes with a meaningful cover artwork comprised of a bloodstained pile of cash inside of prison bars. The single comes on an orange vinyl limited to 1000 copies. Head over to Pirates Press Records web store and preserve your copy.
